Jesus’ Great Commission points us to the resources we most need as we “go and make disciples” (Matt. 28:18-20). He begins by letting us know we go out under His authority. He ends by promising us His presence. What a difference it makes in disciplemaking when we grab hold of these realities. The following discipleship resources will help our understanding but what we most need to pull on is our Lord’s authority and presence.
Resources for Church Leaders to Understand Their Role in Disciplemaking
The three resources in the Discipleship Bundle take in the encompassing nature of the Great Commission. Discipleship begins with leading people into a saving relationship with the Lord (outreach) and continues with shepherding them so they grow into more fully devoted followers of Jesus.
